  1. Did you feel the title was significant and make you want to read the book?
  2. How did you experience Dark Seed? Were you engaged right away or did it take you a while to get into it?
  3. Did you feel that the book fulfilled your expectations?
  4. How did you feel while reading it – amused, concerned, engaged, disturbed, etc.?
  5. Describe Nick:
    • What was his motivation and was it justified?
    • What were his personality traits?
    • What were his inner qualities?
    • How had his past shaped his life?
    • How was his relationship with Sue?
    • How was his relationship with Morgan?
    • Did he grow during the story?
